Nice review Greg. It's a film that keeps you alert, awake, and shifting in your seat for the duration of its run time, and whether or not that’s a good thing; is totally up to you. For me, it was good.

Oblivion is good onetime movie, but was really expecting more from it. I would say watch it only for its visual effects and Tom Cruise. Story is very typical, infact felt it had some Indian touch in it. Like Indian version of Rocky or Behind enemy lines :P atleast concept was same. Although it would look great in theater, i felt spending Rs 320 at Fame for it wasnt really worth. Watch it on DVD when it comes, or rent it from video parlor. Dont want to buy DVD too for it.

A mind blowing plot and excellent performance by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and obviously our werewolf Jacob aka Taylor Lautner. All the Renesmee plot, the fight of the Volturi was excellent and each and every actor has devoted their heart & soul into this movie which has made a large difference in the movie and has exceptionally redefined THE TWILIGHT SAGA!! An absolutely superhit package. The new vampy Bella Cullen was something pretty interesting to look forward to. A lot of notions have been changed about this movie after watching this epic finale.A perfect ending to the epic, but it would be very interesting if we get to see another flick focussing on Jacob & Renesmee. Out of words to express!!!!This is one such movie that you shouldn't miss and if you do its a big loss. I'd suggest spend your weekend with our vampire epic saga..!!!!!

Hi jeff,
Actually I have been writing reviews since 1992, but I have not put four year's worth on computer yet. I may get around to it one day.

Wow. You've been writing reviews since 1996. I just started in September.
I saw this film on DVD last night and enjoyed the so-so renditions of 1980s rock classics. Tom Cruise rocked, though.

I'm reading your blog in Springfield, Illinois and it's extraordinary. Springfield will probably show .01% of the movies listed here so I will rent them on DVD's, but I'm grateful for the reviews.

May I add that Eric Rohmer was ok for me to film him in his office as long as I was shooting by my own, without any team I mean, and without spending my money renting heavy HDV or foot for the camera. He was ok as long as it was light shooting, and when he wanted.I undersand him.He would'nt have been so spontaneous in other conditions, and I'm grateful to him for having let me film him those late moments. Again: All the best to whoever reads me!
