I must be made of stone then Roy ’cause I thought this was a movie made for kids
and at no stage did I feel any emotion. In fact if Albert had fallen in love with the french girl at the end I would have puked my guts out so Spielberg saved my lunch in that regard!!
As for your reviews I think you do a splendid job and enjoy them greatly.

DISGUSTED BEYOND BELIEF YOUR NEW FILM – TAKING JOY OUT OF BRUTALLY MURDERING ANIMALS “Parry failed to sever the head cleanly with the axe….etc” you’re clearly a sadist – if animals ruled – rightfully expect the same barbaric treatment… we should be evolving ..

Yes, the movie is very disappointing, and the characters largely undeveloped. a disappointing australian film!

It had potential, but it was far from realized…No point watching a movie if you know how it’s going to end. None of the characters reached their full potential. I’d give this one 2 out of five, for the nice scenery…My advice? Stay home and watch tv

A film of pure delight from begging to end. This is very funny, heartwarming film. Great comedy.
